Linking is a one-time code
Ask Antemate for a code and type it into Yanvara, or the other way round. It is good for a few minutes and works once. There is no "sign in with" button handing one app a standing key to the other.
Works with Yanvara
Yanvara plans the trip; Antemate keeps the money straight while you are on it. They are made by the same people and they are deliberately two separate products — because most of the bills you split have nothing to do with a holiday, and most trips are planned by somebody who will never split one.
You choose what each app may do
Five permissions, each one a switch, each one off until you turn it on: see your Yanvara trips; attach spending to a trip and create trips; show your Antemate totals in Yanvara; open the Antemate composer from Yanvara; and share your name, photo and home currency. Nothing is bundled — granting the first does not grant the second.
And you can take it back
Revoke any one of them, at any time, from the Connect screen in the app. The other app stops being able to do that thing immediately. Revoking is not a support request.
What the link is actually for
A trip you planned — its dates, its days, its budget — becomes the plan that Antemate measures your real spending against, day by day, while you are still on the trip. That is the whole point of connecting them, and it is trip mode.
What connecting them does not mean
- Antemate works completely on its own. Every branch of the link degrades to "not linked" rather than to an error. If you have never heard of Yanvara, nothing here is missing and nothing nags you about it.
- Two products, two subscriptions. Antemate Pro is not bundled with Yanvara Pro in either direction. Paying for one should not quietly commit you to the other, and a discount that needs both is a discount on something you did not ask for.
- One account, not one database. The two apps share your sign-in and nothing else by default. What crosses between them is what you switched on, and only while it is on.
